Retail Merchandise Planners - Apparel & General Merchandise , Melbourne
If you’re a stand-out merchandise planner…….then this market leading retailer wants you on board now!
Working within high profile departments, the focus of the role will be on the development of category strategies in conjunction with the buyer, constructing merchandise plans, building assortments and quantification.
You will be able to proactively manage the components of the OTB; sales, purchases, markdowns, stock levels. Other responsibilities include in-season & post seasonal analysis and maintaining & developing effective supplier relationships.
As a senior member of the team, you will have excellent leadership and communication skills, supporting the training & development needs of other team members
The role would suit a passionate & product-focused planner, who gets ‘a buzz’ from trading a fast paced area. Strong analytical skills and a results oriented focus together with proven experience in apparel or general merchandise retail planning are essential.
