Retail Buyer - Home Entertainment
Leading national retailer is seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join their head office based team.
You will manage the entire buying process for this category nationwide, and will ideally have a background and keen product knowledge base within this industry or related product sectors.
Working closely with the planning & marketing teams, you will be a strategic thinker, responsible for the development and implementation of business plans, product ranges, promotional activity and financial objectives.
A results driven individual, you will constantly assess brands and supply base to ensure business objectives are met.
An ability to identify trends & opportunities both locally and internationally is essential, as well as an excellent knowledge of the target customer and Australian demographics.
The successful candidate must come from a retail buying background, preferably within a multi site environment; demonstrate a commercial and strategic business thinking ability and ideally have a background in Home Entertainment or related product area.
